On Friday, March 4 as we introduced a distinguished and stellar group of 10 new Aloha Chapter Members that we all want to know!

We will also provide you with an overview and walk-around video tour of a truly amazing new type of community development enabled by the State’s Hawaii Community Development Authority.  In June 2021, after extensive community engagement, HCDA adopted the He’eia Community Development District master plan for 405 acres on Oahu’s windward side.  What has been created in He’eia in the meantime over the last 11 years by their tenant, Kākoʻo ʻŌiwi, is transformational.  With the support of the community, this non-profit and long-term project seeks to restore the agricultural and ecological productivity of the He’eia lands in a manner that also promotes the social, educational and economic advancement of the local community.
