The Aloha Chapter typically meets quarterly over lunch at the Oahu Country Club to hear timely speakers and topics related to land economics. Quarterly meetings have continued virtually during the “Covid years" when in- person meetings were not allowed. The Chapter met via Zoom, occasionally having break-out discussion rooms and periodically had meals delivered to each member’s home or office.

In June 2022, we resumed in-person meetings and truly enjoyed seeing about 43 fellow members at the Oahu Country Club, while 13 members joined us on Zoom, for a test of the dual in-person/virtual format.

Due to technical difficulties and complications of audio lags with the dual format, the Executive Committee has decided to host the remaining 2022 meetings in person only (no Zoom).  As an accommodation to our Neighbor Island members, the Chapter will be reimbursing our Neighbor Island members for one-time travel expenses up to $150 to attend either the September 8 or December 7 meetings on Oahu.  Reimbursement may be obtained by contacting LeeAnn Silva at mahina96822@gmail.com.

We look forward to seeing you in again - you are the best part of membership in LAI!
